In 2017, Cao County achieved a GDP of 35.786 billion yuan, an increase of 7.8% over the same period last year. The added value of the primary industry reached 3.916 billion yuan, an increase of 3.5% over the same period last year. Second, the overall growth of the tertiary industry, of which the added value of the secondary industry reached 18.928 billion yuan, an increase of 8.1% over the same period last year; the added value of the tertiary industry reached 12.943 billion yuan, an increase of 8.6% over the same period last year; and the proportion of the tertiary industry structure was adjusted from 11.72:52.39:35.89 to 10.94:52.89:36.17. Primary industry declined by 0.78 percentage points, secondary industry and tertiary industry increased by 0.5 percentage points and 0.28 percentage points respectively. The contribution rates of primary, secondary and tertiary industries to economic growth were 5.17%, 56.76% and 38.07% respectively, which stimulated economic growth by 0.40%, 4.41 and 2.96 percentage points, respectively. Per capita GDP was 25363 yuan, an increase of 6.7% over the same period last year.
In 2017, Cao County completed investment in fixed assets of 17.32 billion yuan, an increase of 11.1% over the same period last year. Among them, the investment of the second and third industries reached 9.07 billion yuan, an increase of 8.3% and 7.44 billion yuan, an increase of 3.8%. The investment of the industrial technological transformation reached 8.99 billion yuan, an increase of 11.8%. The county's real estate investment completed 4.04 billion yuan, an increase of 15.7% over the same period last year. The construction area is 7.345 million square meters, down 2% from the same period last year; the completed area is 8.86 million square meters, up 39% from the same period last year. Real estate sales area reached 76,000 square meters, an increase of 21.3% compared with the same period last year, of which residential sales area reached 629,000 square meters, an increase of 18.7% compared with the same period last year. The average price of commercial housing is 3384.3 yuan per square meter, down 0.2% from the same period last year, and the area to be sold is 72,000 square meters, down 25.1% from the same period last year.
In 2017, Cao County completed the general public budget revenue of 1.716 billion yuan, and completed the budget of 10.35%, a decrease of 399 million yuan and 18.88% over the same period last year. Taxation completed 118.41 million yuan, accounting for 69% of the public budget revenue, of which, the four main categories of tax revenue completed 671 million yuan, accounting for 56.67% of the tax revenue.
